Job Responsibilities:
The Insurance Recovery Practice Attorney at the law firm will be responsible for enforcing policyholders' rights to coverage under a variety of commercial insurance policies. This role involves handling significant policyholder cases, which include a wide spectrum of losses and liabilities. The attorney will work within the Insurance Coverage Litigation practice, which is recognized by Chambers for its effectiveness in representing policyholders. Responsibilities include collaborating with a team of attorneys to manage a busy caseload, and leveraging legal expertise to advocate for clients in complex insurance litigation matters.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have at least five years of experience in insurance policyholder matters at an AmLaw 200 law firm or a policyholder boutique. This experience should include handling significant cases involving a variety of commercial insurance policies. A law degree from an accredited institution is required, and candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and law school transcript as part of the application process.
Salary Information:
The compensation for this position is $185,000 annually, with the amount dependent on qualifications and experience. Additionally, the position offers an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
