Job Title: Managing Director, Transaction Advisory Services - (M&A) Tax

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of deal execution, including managing client relationships and ensuring the completion of client deliverables.
- Advise clients on enhancing tax opportunities and managing tax risks associated with mergers and acquisitions, including post-acquisition actions.
- Analyze tax risks of target companies using tax returns, accounting information, and interviews with management.
- Review reports correlating tax due diligence and tax structuring findings.
- Identify issues affecting purchase price, deal structure, or deal termination.
- Work closely with executives, investment bankers, private equity and corporate clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
- Lead, supervise, recruit, and coach team members providing tax transaction services to clients.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements.
- Collaborate with other company team members to exceed client expectations.

Education and Experience Information:
- A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, taxation, or a related field is required, with a CPA license preferred or JD/LLM.
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of tax experience with a large public accounting or consulting firm, with at least five (5) years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services / M&A Tax.
- Strong knowledge in . Federal income tax, mergers and acquisitions, and transaction services is required, with current knowledge of state and local taxes preferred.
- Previous experience leading M&A tax engagement teams.
- Extensive analytical and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with corporate and flow-through concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and lead team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness and ability to travel.

Salary Information:
- Colorado Salary Range: Minimum $180,400, Maximum $285,000
- New York Salary Range: Minimum $180,400, Maximum $380,000
- California Salary Range: Minimum $180,400, Maximum $380,000
- Maryland Salary Range: Minimum $180,400, Maximum $285,000
- Illinois Salary Range: Minimum $180,400, Maximum $285,000
- New Jersey Salary Range: Minimum $180,400, Maximum $380,000

Additional Information:
- The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position.
- Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
- The company reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
- For non-exempt positions, there is eligibility for overtime pay at a rate of one and a half times the hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek, depending on the state laws.
