Job Title: Associate General Counsel – Remote – Northeast Region Preferred

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for network markets in the Northeast Region as part of the Network Legal Team. This includes markets such as VA, WV, MD, DC, PA, DE, NY, NJ, MA, ME, VT, and RI.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal professionals across the company.
- Serve as counsel to leadership in the development, structuring, and execution of the company’s relationships with healthcare providers.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with large and complex healthcare provider partners.
- Manage the resolution of disputes, support arbitration proceedings, and draft settlement agreements.
- Acquire deep knowledge of the industry and the specific business practices of the company's provider network operations.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- License to practice law in one or more states.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional legal experience in an attorney capacity.
- Experience advising senior leadership on legal matters.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
- Experience in highly regulated industries.
- Experience collaborating across a legal team.
- Proven ability to drive results and a solid work ethic.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate and determine appropriate legal courses of action to meet business needs.
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with superiors, peers, subordinates, and external company contacts.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing pre-litigation matters.
- Experience with healthcare regulatory agencies.
- Understanding of healthcare benefit coverage.
- Understanding of the health insurance and managed care industry.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal and Northeast Region state laws and regulations.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
- In addition to salary, the company offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
