Location:

  • Tampa, FL

Duties:

  • Represent insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and insureds in state and federal courts

  • Handle civil litigation matters including:

    • General liability

    • Premises liability

    • Construction defect claims

    • Professional liability

    • Insurance coverage disputes

  • Conduct depositions, prepare for hearings and trials

  • Perform legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda

  • Communicate with clients and maintain case strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience

  • Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing

  • Strong skills in deposition practice, trial preparation, and hearings

  • Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in Florida (required)

Skills:

  • Proficient in litigation case management

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

  • Team-oriented with a commitment to client service
