Job Title: 2026 2L Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a nine- to ten-week clerkship that provides hands-on experience in the daily life of a law firm attorney.
- Engage in meaningful career development activities and network building.
- Participate in mentorship experiences to gain insights and guidance from experienced attorneys.
- For those interested in Intellectual Property (IP), engage in tasks and projects related to IP law, utilizing a background in engineering, computer science, or physics.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must be rising second-year law students.
- Strong academic credentials are required.
- Applicants interested in IP should have an academic background or relevant work experience in engineering, computer science, or physics.
- Required application materials include a resume, cover letter, and transcript (unofficial version is acceptable initially, but a full transcript must be provided upon receipt).
- An undergraduate transcript is required for candidates interested in IP.
Salary Information:
- Scholarship opportunities are available alongside the traditional nine- to ten-week paid summer clerkship.
- For 2L students, there is an opportunity to receive up to $40,000 in scholarship funds to assist with school-related expenses.
- Scholarship payments include:
- $10,000 if the candidate receives and accepts the 1L summer offer.
- $25,000 if the candidate receives and accepts the 2L summer offer.
- $15,000 if the candidate receives and accepts the First-Year Associate offer.
- The potential total scholarship amount is $50,000.
