A law firm in Los Angeles is currently seeking a Junior Tax - Executive Compensation, Employment, and Benefits Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in tax law, with a focus on executive compensation, employment, and benefits. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with at least 2 years of experience in benefits and compensation.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters.
  • Draft and review executive compensation agreements, employment contracts, and benefit plan documents.
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address legal issues related to employee benefits.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws affecting executive compensation and benefits.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits and compensation, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws related to executive compensation and employee benefits.
