**Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Private Equity**
**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Tax Senior Manager in the Private Equity sector, you will play a crucial role in providing tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing prior experience to effectively analyze, develop solutions, and implement clients' tax objectives.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships by delivering comprehensive tax consulting services and engaging specialists as necessary.
- Performing high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns.
- Preparing and leading client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of various transactions to investment funds.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising Tax Consultants, Tax Seniors, and Tax Managers.
- Being actively involved in the recruitment process.
- Serving as the lead client contact on engagements, managing billing and profitability analysis, and contributing to marketplace eminence building and pursuits.
**Education and Experience Information:**
**Required:**
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- A minimum of 8 years of total corporate tax experience.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong managerial experience in handling budgets, people, and projects.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities effectively.
- Capability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- One of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
**Preferred:**
- An advanced degree such as a Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
**Salary Information:**
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the geographic differential associated with the position's location. At Company, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,570 to $285,740.
Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's governing rules. An award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
