Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate will be a crucial part of the cybersecurity and incident response practice at the law firm. The associate will:
- Advise innovative companies on handling cybersecurity incidents and navigating complex privacy and cybersecurity issues.
- Represent clients in major security incidents and provide counseling on best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Offer cybersecurity expertise in technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic corporate transactions.
- Advise cybersecurity companies on legal compliance related to security research and threat intelligence activities.
- Take on significant responsibility within the group and contribute to the growth of the practice to serve leading technology companies.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. The law firm values experience within state or federal government agencies, particularly in cybersecurity and privacy. Experience with incident response, cybersecurity investigations, or cybersecurity counseling is also advantageous. Candidates must possess superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $310,000, depending on the year classification. Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
