Job Title: Internship Spring - Consumer Law Unit

Job Responsibilities:
Interns at the organization will have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities depending on their availability and experience. The responsibilities include:

- Providing client services and advocacy, especially for those who can commit more time or are available for longer periods.
- Participating in orientation sessions and learning opportunities, including court and hearing observations.
- Conducting client intakes and gathering necessary information.
- Performing smaller research projects to assist the legal team.
- Assisting staff with case preparation.
- For summer interns or those in longer-term programs, additional responsibilities may include assisting in casework and providing direct service to clients.
- Depending on experience, skill level, and certifications such as 3:03 certification, direct representation on certain legal matters may be possible.
- Attending additional events, learning opportunities, and training sessions.

Education and Experience Information:
- The internship is open to various candidates, including law and undergraduate students.
- The organization considers all kinds of experience, not just academic credentials.
- Interns are encouraged to commit 10 hours a week during the academic year, with flexibility to accommodate academic and work schedules.
