A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Miami, FL to join its dynamic litigation team. Duties
- Manage a high-volume caseload under senior attorney supervision.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced legal environment while meeting strict deadlines.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
- Experience in litigation or insurance defense is a plus.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow under senior attorney guidance.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with premises liability, personal injury, workers' compensation, auto claims, or maritime law.
- Courtroom or deposition experience is helpful.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
