Job Title: Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Senior Manager

Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Financial Services Tax practice within Corporate Tax services involves assisting clients to meet their tax obligations while managing the impact of tax on their business. The role includes advising clients on local and overseas tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant for business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Responsibilities include:

- Advising organizations on the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.
- Providing advice on the tax implications of deals.
- Helping Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment.
- Assisting clients with tax structuring and addressing the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
- Encouraging team members to have a voice and invite opinions from all, including quieter members.
- Effectively dealing with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Initiating open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Moving easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions.
- Contributing technical knowledge in the area of specialization.
- Creating an environment where people and technology thrive together.
- Navigating the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
- Initiating and leading open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.

Additional Responsibilities:
The role involves leading as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Additional responsibilities include:

- Providing unparalleled technical knowledge and specialization and industry insights.
- Identifying and addressing client needs.
- Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Communicating value propositions and managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, and coaching staff with timely meaningful feedback.
- Demonstrating success as a tax technical business advisor.
- Developing new relationships and making introductions to sell new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
- Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Advancing pricing strategy through pricing tools and influencing a shift to alternative fee arrangements.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Intimate knowledge of tax compliance methods and strategy consulting for Real Estate Investment Trusts and Real Estate Partnerships.
- Considerable knowledge of partnership structures and their impact on real estate transactions and corresponding tax liabilities.
- Considerable knowledge of accounting for Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
- Comprehensive technical skills, including providing full services to real estate owners, developers, and investors.
- Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs and managing resource requirements.
- Considerable experience as a team leader, supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, and coaching staff.
- Demonstrates success as a tax technical business advisor, developing new relationships, and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization and leading by example in a professional services environment.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
