Location

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a range of employment-related claims

  • Represent employers in:

    • State and federal court proceedings

    • Administrative agency hearings

    • Mediations and arbitrations

  • Handle matters involving:

    • Class and collective actions

    • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims

    • Contract disputes and employment torts

    • Non-compete and restrictive covenant enforcement

  • Advise employers on a broad scope of labor and employment law issues

  • Provide preventive legal counseling and support compliance efforts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant litigation experience

  • Demonstrated background in employment law

  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Experience representing management in employment-related legal disputes

  • Familiarity with both court procedures and employment-related administrative agency processes

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong academic performance preferred

Certifications

  • Active member of the New York State Bar

  • Must be in good standing or eligible for prompt admission

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills
