As a Tax Manager, you will oversee and review financial information for clients and develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities. You will also manage client relationships and mentor internal staff to ensure high-quality work is delivered.
JOB DESCRIPTION
H1: Essential Functions
H2: Tax Strategy and Engagement Oversight
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients
- Manage a portfolio of tax engagements and supervise tax staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor engagement progress and make adjustments as needed
H2: Research and Analysis
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations
- Conduct tax research to address client inquiries and resolve complex issues
H2: Client Communication
- Effectively communicate tax concepts and strategies to clients
- Prepare and deliver presentations on tax-related matters
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
H2: Compliance and Documentation
- Review tax returns for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and manage tax filing deadlines and requirements
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations
H2: Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm
- Supervise and mentor tax staff

- Identify opportunities to enhance tax workflows and processes
