Job Title: Asset & Wealth Management - Renewable Energy Tax Senior Manager

Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Financial Services Tax practice within the Corporate Tax services at the company involves supporting clients in meeting their tax obligations while managing the impact of taxes on their business. The role includes advising clients on local and international tax matters and acting as a strategic consultant in business analysis, working capital management, and profit-sharing for partners. The responsibilities extend to helping organizations with pricing implications of goods and services between related parties and providing advice on tax implications of deals. The team assists Financial Services clients in navigating the changing and complex tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, operational tax risks management, and tax implications of investments across different jurisdictions. The position involves tax structuring to address challenges in the evolving tax landscape both locally and globally.

As a Senior Manager, the role requires working as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. The responsibilities include:

- Encouraging team members to voice their opinions and inviting input from quieter members.
- Effectively dealing with ambiguous and unstructured problems.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Field(s) of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of compliance and consulting for investment partnerships, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds.
- Expertise in structuring of funds and fund management companies to limit tax liability.
- Comprehensive understanding of alternative investment strategies and vehicles.
- Proficiency in tax technical skills, including partnership tax forms.
- Experience with complicated partnership structures and tax matters relevant to the renewable energy industry, such as tax credits and fixed asset depreciation.
- Interest in learning more about the renewable energy industry.
- Innovation through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools for client insights.
- Utilizing digitization tools to optimize engagements and reduce hours.
- Advancing pricing strategy through pricing tools and influencing shifts to alternative fee arrangements.
- Building and maintaining networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Demonstrating success as a tax technical business advisor, developing new relationships, and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $335,000, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for the position. Actual compensation will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
