A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate to join its Boston office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with strong experience in structuring and negotiating a broad range of complex financing transactions. The role offers the chance to work on high-value matters involving acquisition financings, leveraged transactions, and financial restructurings, providing exposure to both borrower- and lender-side representations.

Location

  • Boston, Massachusetts

Duties

  • Structure, negotiate, and document secured and unsecured debt financing transactions

  • Advise clients in acquisition financings, leveraged loans, and recapitalizations

  • Represent both borrowers and lenders in senior, mezzanine, and subordinated loan arrangements

  • Assist with loan workouts, restructurings, and debtor-in-possession financings

  • Draft credit agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams on transactional and regulatory matters

  • Provide strategic legal counsel on complex commercial finance matters

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in debt finance or leveraged finance

  • Experience representing borrowers, sponsors, and/or lenders in a range of debt transactions

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions-related financing preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated transactions independently and as part of a team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and good standing membership in at least one . state bar (Massachusetts preferred)
