Job Title: Family Law Staff Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The Family Law Staff Attorney will be responsible for providing representation in family law cases, including but not limited to adoption, divorce, custody, paternity, and modification proceedings. Additionally, the attorney will handle adult and child guardianship cases and orders of protection. The role includes managing one's own caseload, preparing for trials, and making in-court appearances. The attorney will work within a collegial family law unit that offers guidance and mentoring to new family law attorneys. There may also be opportunities to handle other types of cases as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited law school and must be licensed to practice law in Missouri or be in the process of transferring a bar license from another state. The position requires excellent communication skills, analytical skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing quality legal services to low-income and/or vulnerable populations.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Family Law Staff Attorney position is $65,000+ depending on experience.
