Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney - Bodily Injury

Job Responsibilities:
As an insurance defense attorney within the bodily injury unit, you will be part of the motor vehicle insurance defense litigation team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide legal representation to the company's insureds and/or the company itself before courts and arbitration panels in all aspects of litigation. You will handle cases from beginning to end, which includes preparing legal pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs. Additionally, you will be involved in negotiating settlements. A key part of your role will be to work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation, ensuring that all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes. Other tasks will include analyzing written discovery, depositions, medical records, and assessing the value of claims to determine risk exposure.

Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for this position, you must have a Juris Doctor degree or a Master of Laws (LLM). Additionally, you must be admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Salary Information:
The compensation for this role ranges from $104,580 to $157,300 per year. Additionally, there is a Gainshare bonus opportunity of up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
