Position: Case Administrator II
Organization: **Members Only**
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $55,940 - $90,898 per year

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Case Administrators at **Members Only** are responsible for maintaining and processing case information, managing case progression, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, procedures, and court rules. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Make summary entries on all documents and proceedings
- Assign case numbers and receive and docket terminating documents
- Perform quality control on attorney-docketed entries
- Accept, review, and process documents
- Prepare deficiency worksheet/notice and review filed documents for conformity
- Refer cases to judges or court attorneys for action and rule on motions as permitted by local rules
- Check for prior or prohibited filing and verify attorney's authority to practice
- Monitor for release of exhibits and sealed documents
- Inform customers of required fees and process payments
- Create and process new case files and maintain integrity of filing system
- Retrieve files and make copies for court personnel, attorneys, and others
- Certify court documents and ensure data quality
- Prepare, ship, and retrieve records from Federal Records Center
- Scan, copy, file, pick-up, and sort mail and process email received from electronic filers
- Operate various office equipment and assist with court proceedings as needed
- Open and process new appeals and assign case numbers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Highly organized, tactful, and possess good judgment and poise
- Strong prioritizing and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to work well with others
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- 1+ year of specialized experience at CL-24 level or equivalent
- Experience in law firms, legal counsel offices, or other related environments preferred
