A prestigious law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 4 to 7 years of experience to join its Chambers-ranked real estate group. The role involves working on a wide array of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, debt financing, leasing, and development matters. The position offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility within a collaborative and highly experienced team, serving an elite client base.

Handle all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including:
Acquisitions and dispositions
Joint ventures and real estate financing
Commercial leasing (office, industrial, retail)
Real estate development projects
Title and survey review
Draft and negotiate a range of real estate documents
Collaborate with legal team members while also managing matters independently
Interact with sophisticated clients and address legal risks and deal structures
4–7 years of commercial real estate experience at a law firm
Background in handling joint ventures, financing, leasing, and purchase/sale transactions
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex matters and client communications
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Must be in good standing with the California Bar
Juris Doctor (.) from a nationally recognized, ABA-accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
Superior legal writing and analytical skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in real estate law
Significant bonus opportunities for associates billing 1,950 hours or more annually
Billable hour target: 1,850 hours (includes pro bono and certain administrative time)
