Hanson Bridgett, a values-driven law firm, is currently seeking a mid-level Real Estate Transactional Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our Real Estate + Environment Section. This position is based in California and offers a hybrid work environment, with the option to work from our San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Rafael, or Walnut Creek offices.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in real estate transactions, including project management and expertise in complex debt and equity financing structures, purchase and sale documentation, due diligence, title and survey review, commercial leasing, and UCC law. Experience with HUD is a plus.

The annual base compensation range for this position in California is between $190,000 and $210,000, depending on factors such as years of experience and professional skills. We are not accepting submissions from recruiters at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee real estate transactions of all sizes
- Work closely with complex debt and equity financing structures
- Draft and review purchase and sale transaction documentation
- Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and commercial leasing negotiations
- Stay up-to-date with UCC law and regulations
- Collaborate with partners and clients to successfully complete deals
- Participate in professional mentorship opportunities to develop your skills and career
- Uphold the firm's values and commitment to creating positive change in the community
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions
- Strong project management skills
- Expertise in complex debt and equity financing structures
- Proficiency in purchase and sale transaction documentation
- Knowledge of due diligence, title and survey review, and commercial leasing negotiations
- Familiarity with UCC law and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with partners and clients
- Commitment to the firm's values and creating positive change in the community
