Responsibilities:

- Develop and advocate for the company’s positions on hate speech, ensuring alignment with global regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Spearhead long-term policy strategies to combat online hate speech and position the company as an industry leader.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to evolving regulations and proposed legislation related to content moderation and online hate speech policy.
- Engage with senior policymakers, global regulatory bodies, industry groups, and civil society organizations to influence legislative and regulatory frameworks.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders while serving as a subject matter expert on hate speech in internal and external meetings.
- Lead engagement with regulatory bodies and coordinate internal efforts to align policy strategy and support advocacy initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement hate speech policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and improving content moderation strategies.
- Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on policy priorities and emerging trends.
- Analyze hate speech trends and provide data-driven insights to inform policy decisions.
- Deliver regular regulatory reports and provide strategic recommendations on emerging threats.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
- Extensive experience in public policy, government relations, or advocacy, with at least 5 years focusing on hate speech, antisemitism, or related issues.
- Deep understanding of content moderation policies, regulatory frameworks, and the social impact of hate speech and antisemitism in digital and social media.
- Proven experience working with government officials, NGOs, and industry stakeholders.
- Familiarity with international laws and policies on hate speech, antisemitism, and digital rights.
- Background in grassroots advocacy and global stakeholder engagement.

Salary Information:

- The base salary range for this position in Washington . is $178,200 - $330,480 annually.
- Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
- Base pay is one part of the total package, which also includes additional bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
- Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location, but typically include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, and disability coverage.
- Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
