The successful candidate will have the autonomy to handle assigned cases while also having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators. Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense or financial services work preferred
- Strong research skills and ability to apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure to defend clients and reach successful resolutions
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with paralegals, legal practice assistants, and staff
- Team player and self-starter with a desire for increasing levels of responsibility
- Must be licensed in South Carolina or willing to take the next available South Carolina Bar Exam
- Highly qualified candidates who are also licensed in California may be considered
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and other proceedings as necessary
- Open to work from home, part-time, or flexible hour arrangements
