Senior Tax - Mergers and Acquisitions: Strategy and Transformation
**Members Only** is seeking a Senior Tax professional with expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) to join our team in multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of industries and lead projects, develop people and manage teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax due diligence, structuring, and modeling, as well as experience with complex tax research and planning strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about M&A and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist corporate and private equity buyers with tax due diligence, structuring, and modeling on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Prepare due diligence reports for C-suite audience.
- Conduct complex tax research and develop tax-planning strategies.
- Expand tax research skills through exploration of technical tax issues across various industries and sectors.
The Team:
Our M&A professionals provide a broad range of advisory services to support corporate and private equity buyers throughout the M&A process. We work with clients before, during, and after the transaction to analyze and evaluate tax risks and opportunities, and help them meet their global goals and business objectives. Our team consists of professionals from various backgrounds, including finance, tax, law, and compliance, who work together to provide comprehensive and strategic solutions for our clients.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, JD, or LLM.
- 3+ years of corporate tax experience with a Big 4 organization, law firm, or large multinational company.
- Licensed CPA, attorney, or Enrolled Agent, or in the process of obtaining one of these accreditations.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served.
Preferred:
- MBA or MS in Accounting or Tax.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills, including problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Consulting and compliance experience.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and other organizational needs. The estimated range for this role is $120,610 to $223,990. Please note that this range does not include any applicable geographic differentials.
