Job Title: Lateral Intake Coordinator (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
The Lateral Intake Coordinator is tasked with supporting lateral partners in efficiently opening their portable work. This includes a variety of responsibilities focused on ensuring a seamless transition for incoming lateral partners and their clients. Key responsibilities include:

- Inputting key data into Intapp Intake’s request form to facilitate the opening of clients and matters for Lateral Attorneys, identifying potential data bottlenecks, and resolving issues to advance the process.
- Preparing draft engagement letters for incoming lateral partners by utilizing the portable matters chart provided by the Lateral Conflicts team. This involves reviewing drafts with the lateral partner and following up on any missing data to ensure timely client openings.
- Assisting with data intake to ensure that workflow steps advance efficiently, including ensuring that the matter-opening process is followed and coordinating with the Information Governance team for proper data movement to workspaces and access points.
- Updating client statuses in Integration Plans during the client opening process and when sending out engagement letters.
- Ensuring a smooth hand-off to the assigned Practice Assistant for ongoing support after the successful opening of portable clients.
- Regularly interfacing and communicating with various teams including the lateral partner, Conflicts Team, Business Intake team, Client Contracts team, Information Governance team, and Lateral Integration team.
- Tracking, analyzing, and providing status updates related to the opening of new clients/matters and the setup of data.
- Undertaking special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. A strong understanding of client intake processes and data management is essential.

Required Skills:
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information:
The base salary for this position varies by location, with the following ranges:
- Illinois: - per hour
- Washington: - per hour
- District of Columbia: - per hour
- New York City: - per hour
- New York State: - per hour
- Colorado: - per hour
- California: - per hour
