Location:
Duties:
- Provide tax planning and advisory services in federal, state, and international tax law matters.
- Assist clients in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and corporate finance.
- Advise on equity financings, technology transfers, and complex licensing/collaboration arrangements.
- Support both domestic and international tax planning initiatives for clients.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver comprehensive legal services.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
- Prepare and review tax-related documents, agreements, and filings.
- Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Participate in business development activities, including client pitches and presentations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in tax law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate finance.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and international tax law.
- Experience advising clients in technology, life sciences, or growth enterprise sectors is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and analytical ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials.
Certifications:
- Active bar membership in a relevant jurisdiction.
