The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $81,200 to $133,900, with a higher range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California.
The Tax Senior will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex individual tax returns, as well as providing income tax planning and advising for high net worth individuals and families. They will also work with specialists in other areas such as International tax, state and local tax, and asset management to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. The role also involves researching tax issues, building effective relationships with clients, and identifying and reacting to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
To qualify for this role, candidates must have a thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning, experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax, and excellent collaboration and negotiation skills. A thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within the area of technical professionalism is also required.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record in high net-worth tax planning and a professional services environment. They will also have experience in working on multiple teams and possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ability to adapt to different work styles and work with both internal and client team members is also important.
