Job Title: West Virginia Debt Resolution Attorney (Remote)

Job Responsibilities:
The West Virginia Debt Resolution Attorney at the law firm is responsible for managing debt resolution files and consulting with the firm's clients. The role involves providing legal assistance as needed, which includes handling a considerable volume of telephone consultations, overseeing settlements, conducting file reviews, and reviewing and approving legal documents prepared by the firm’s paralegals. A significant aspect of the job is spending time on the phone with clients to ensure they fully understand the debt resolution process. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be engaging, patient, and comfortable with a high volume of client interaction and customer service.

This position is fully remote, allowing the attorney to work from a designated remote workspace. As such, candidates must be proficient in using computers and basic software.

Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must be licensed and in good standing with the relevant state bar.
- Experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in debtor/creditor/bankruptcy is preferred.

Salary Information:
The annual salary for the position starts from $80,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include paid time off, 10 paid holidays, payment of bar dues, continuing legal education, yearly reviews with potential raises up to 5% per year, and discretionary bonuses. The benefits package also includes medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with matching, and a health care flexible spending account.
