Job Title:
Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group, the candidate will be an integral part of tax engagement teams, offering a myriad of tax services pertinent to public and private companies. The responsibilities include:
- Conducting a detailed technical review of partnership, corporate, and individual federal tax returns and assessing all related work papers.
- Collaborating with clients' tax and finance departments on tax planning and compliance data collection.
- Performing in-depth reviews of income tax provisions in line with ASC 740.
- Researching federal tax legislation to comprehend its impact on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting with various tax consulting projects, including research and writing projects on federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned tasks.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
- Capacity to travel up to 25%, on average, based on work, clients, and industry sectors served.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in federal taxation.
- Experience in the preparation and review of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Possession of one of the following active accreditations, in process, or willingness and ability to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications:
- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors in compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,570 to $151,580.
Additionally, there may be eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, where an award, if any, depends on factors including individual and organizational performance.
