Locations

The DOL offers internships in three locations: Newark, Trenton, and Voorhees. Each intern is assigned to a specific section within these locations, allowing you to focus on a particular area of law.

Job Description

As an intern, you will perform the full range of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing. You will also have the opportunity to observe a wide range of legal activities, such as court proceedings, client meetings, and depositions. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.

Deadlines and Requirements

The DOL offers internships during the summer break, fall semester, and spring semester. The deadlines for each program are as follows:

- March 15 for the summer program
- July 15 for the fall semester
- November 15 for the spring semester

Applicants must be law students and can apply to work in one of 11 sections based in Newark, 14 sections based in Trenton, or 1 in Voorhees.
