Job Title:
Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group, the candidate will be an integral part of tax engagement teams, tasked with a range of responsibilities essential to public and private companies. The primary duties include:

- Conducting a detailed technical review of partnership, corporate, and individual federal tax returns along with the associated work papers.
- Coordinating with clients' tax and finance departments to gather information for tax planning and compliance.
- Performing a detailed review of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
- Researching federal tax legislation to understand its impact on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting with various tax consulting projects, including research and writing related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflows and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in federal taxation.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain one of the following active accreditations: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred:
- An advanced degree such as a Master's of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- A passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The estimated range is $66,570 to $151,580, though it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of this range. Compensation decisions are based on the specifics of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, which depends on individual and organizational performance.
