Job Title: Manager, International Tax
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in the International Tax Services practice, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting clients in the implementation of specific international tax structures and processes.
- Overseeing complex tax computation projects across diverse industries.
- Conducting research and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations.
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance to the engagement team.
- Supervising Senior and Tax Consultants.
Education and Experience Information:
Required qualifications for the position include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, with a focus on international taxation preferred.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring co-location in person 2-3 days per week.
- Capability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work and the clients and industries/sectors served.
- One of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations based on role requirements and business approval: Licensed Attorney or Enrolled Agent.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience with a Big 4 firm, public accounting, or consulting.
- Experience participating in strategic planning initiatives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong research and verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is estimated to be between $111,090 and $235,170. This range considers various factors, such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
