Duties:

  • Oversee legal matters through all phases of civil litigation

  • Draft motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence

  • Conduct and manage discovery, including depositions and interrogatories

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, trials, and other proceedings

  • Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and stakeholders

  • Prepare status reports and communicate legal strategies effectively

  • Work collaboratively with legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on litigation experience

  • Proficient in motion practice, discovery, deposition handling, and case strategy

  • Strong ability to work autonomously while engaging in team-oriented casework

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with precision and organization

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan

  • Member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan
