Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex legal issues and determine potential damages and strategies for dispute resolution
- Review assigned matters to ensure compliance with obligations and responsibilities to insureds, third parties, and regulatory authorities
- Monitor outside counsel activities to ensure competent representation at a reasonable cost
- Provide legal advice and counsel on general corporate matters
- Stay updated on changes to legislation, case law, and regulations that may impact the company and advise impacted departments

Desired Skills:
- Law degree and license to practice law required
- Previous legal experience preferred, specifically in tort or insurance law
- Strong legal, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates
- Excellent negotiating skills with legal and financial/commercial matters
