Position Summary:

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Risk Management Conflict Clerk. This is a full-time position with flexible options for remote, hybrid, or onsite work. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a medium to large law firm, with preference given to those with paralegal or law clerk experience.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct conflict of interest searches and manage matter intake from start to finish, including making decisions on complex or unusual requests and communicating with attorneys and other staff as needed.
- Analyze conflicts reports and make recommendations, highlighting potential conflicts for attorney review.
- Stay up-to-date on rules of professional conduct and client relationship considerations.
- Perform research using third-party business resources for new clients and other assigned work.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Contribute to the department's work product by communicating and collaborating effectively with team members.
- Be available for overtime as needed, including weekend and holiday coverage shared with other staff.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in research, paralegal, or clerking, or 1 year of direct conflicts experience in a law firm.
- Professional demeanor and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Discretion and good judgment.
- Proficiency with Outlook preferred.
- Familiarity with legal documents is a plus.

Education:

- College degree preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a friendly, business casual environment and a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000, along with a full benefits package.
