Duties:

  • Evaluate new case files to develop strategic action plans and budget recommendations.
  • Identify required pleadings and assign tasks to paralegals as necessary.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including discovery responses and motions.
  • Oversee document production and manage discovery-related matters.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
  • Prepare for and participate in settlement negotiations and trial proceedings.
  • Maintain regular communication with paralegals, legal assistants, and clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense preferred.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and client-relations skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with legal teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and dispute-resolution abilities.
