**Members Only**, a reputable law firm in North Carolina, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join our Litigation Practice Group. With a focus on land use, zoning, eminent domain, and environmental law, this is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with three to five years of litigation experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide sound legal advice to clients, conduct thorough legal research, and effectively communicate with clients and opposing counsel. They should also have experience in drafting legal documents and participating in various legal proceedings, such as depositions, motion hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, board hearings, and judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of land use/zoning and environmental matters and be able to assist multiple practice groups in these areas.
We are looking for someone with and is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Licensure in South Carolina is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience representing litigants in eminent domain and environmental law cases, as well as representing applicants in land use and zoning application processes and hearings. Experience in conducting environmental due diligence assessments in corporate and real estate transactions is also preferred. Additionally, experience in hearings, depositions, and motion practice is a plus, and trial and arbitration experience is highly desirable.
