Job Title: Tax Manager

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager within the Global Information Reporting practice at the company, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at contributing to global tax transparency in the financial industry. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing advisory services to financial institutions on various international tax regimes such as FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 and Chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code, Withholding Partnership rules, Qualified Intermediaries, and other global information reporting and withholding regimes.
- Coordinating international teams across different jurisdictions to assist financial institutions with compliance efforts related to these rules.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and managing engagement workflows while supervising tax consultants.
- Performing detailed reviews of reporting data, tax form validations, notifications, and other requirements associated with FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3, and Chapter 61.
- Contributing to internal technology development by assisting with the design, drafting business requirements, and technology testing.
- Participating in training sessions and educating tax consultants on the impacts and requirements of these regulations.

Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3, and Chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code, Qualified Intermediaries, or other withholding and reporting regimes.
- Experience in the preparation and review of FATCA tax returns, CRS reporting, tax forms validation (such as W-8, W-9, or CRS Self-certifications), and 1042/1042-S and 1099 reporting is required.
- Experience in managing teams and engagement workflows is necessary.
- The candidate should be able to travel 25% of the time, on average, based on the work and clients served.
- One of the following active accreditations is required: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office (if eligible), Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree such as a Master's in Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for the Tax Manager role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed salary range is $100,730 to $213,200. It is noted that compensation decisions are dependent on the specific facts and circumstances of each case, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.

Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Awards under this program depend on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
