Job Title: Senior Compliance Analyst - COI

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the company's Compliance Program by providing regulatory interpretation, performing compliance reporting, leading special projects, and developing and implementing compliance auditing and monitoring strategies.
- Respond to external requests for information necessary for the organization's regulatory filings.
- Manage compliance reporting responsibilities and address inquiries from state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Oversee ethics and compliance projects or implementations.
- Review and synthesize regulatory requirements, creating policy and/or position statements as needed.
- Assist in managing the annual code of conduct attestation and remediation processes.
- Communicate state and federal requirements to both internal and external clients.
- Provide development guidance and assist in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of compliance issues.
- Maintain and review regulatory documentation to ensure corporate standards are upheld.
- Assist in developing, producing, and conducting compliance training programs.
- Perform periodic compliance audits, risk assessments, and ongoing compliance monitoring activities.
- Assist health plans in managing relationships with regulatory agencies and work to resolve policy issues that may negatively impact member services.
- Assist management with interim health plan compliance officer responsibilities.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the implementation of Compliance Committee policy to ensure decisions are properly executed.
- Serve as a company-wide resource and liaison on policies, contract issues and provisions, communications, workflow, and quality improvement initiatives.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related legal field or equivalent experience is required.
- A Master’s or Juris Doctorate degree is preferred and may be considered in lieu of experience.
- 3+ years of related experience in compliance privacy and/or regulatory affairs is required.
- Experience in project management with working knowledge of laws and/or regulations in the area of compliance, particularly HIPAA and state regulations, is necessary.
