As a Legal Counsel - Litigation and Investigations, you will be responsible for supporting Equinix's litigation, investigation, and dispute resolution work in the United States and Canada. This role can be remote or hybrid, with preferred locations in Frisco or Toronto.

- Manage and develop overall strategy for assigned cases, including selecting and managing outside counsel, assessing and quantifying liability, and reviewing and preparing filings.
- Support or manage discovery efforts, including written responses, third-party subpoenas, depositions, and document collection and production.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the legal department and throughout the company.
- Prioritize projects and deliver results within agreed timelines.
- Contribute to thought leadership on litigation and investigation best practices.
- Think creatively and devise solutions to challenging problems.
- Make and articulate determinations regarding risks and benefits.
- Exercise mature judgment in a fast-paced and informal environment.
- Develop new areas of expertise and work on a variety of projects to support the legal team.

- 2-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm, government, or in-house setting.
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
