Emerging Companies Attorney (Junior Associate) The candidate will work in emerging companies, venture capital, and fund formation practice. Will work for clients ranging from early-stage startups to mature industry leaders and include many of the region's premier venture-backed companies. Will also represents venture capital firms and corporate - venture capital investors in national and international transactions. Will be expected to advise clients on general corporate and LLC governance matters; advise clients on entity formation, financing strategies and implementing transactions; form business entities, such as corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies; and interact directly with company founders and executives. Must demonstrate ambition and initiative and should have 1-3 years of relevant law firm experience working with emerging growth companies and working on venture capital investment transactions, and should have literacy with financial matters and spreadsheets. Candidates with NC Bar admission preferred. Should have outstanding undergraduate and law school academics. Excellent written, analytical and verbal skills required.
