Job Overview:
A law firm based in Auburn, AL, is seeking an experienced trial attorney with a strong background in personal injury and premises liability litigation. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about client advocacy. The selected candidate will manage a high-volume caseload, lead litigation efforts, and represent clients through trial with the full support of an experienced team and advanced legal resources.

Duties:

• Manage approximately 150 cases, including 50+ in active litigation

• Guide each case from intake through settlement or jury verdict

• Conduct client communications and consultations with clarity and empathy

• Draft and respond to motions, conduct depositions, and participate in mediations

• Develop a litigation strategy tailored to each case

• Serve as lead attorney in jury trials, advocating effectively in court

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation (5-8 years preferred)

• At least 5+ first-chair jury verdicts required; 10+ preferred

• Admitted and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar

• Additional state bar admissions are an advantage

• In-depth understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence

• Strong communication, time management, and case strategy skills

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, performance-focused environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license with the Alabama State Bar (required)

• Additional Bar memberships are considered a plus
