Job Responsibilities
A Wealth Transition Services Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and consultation on the estate planning process. This includes creating plans based on tax perspectives, cash flow projections, distribution of income, business succession, estate preservation, and estate plan flow. Key duties involve interpreting and reviewing various legal documents related to estate and business succession planning. The manager will provide tax planning and consulting services specifically tailored for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. They are also responsible for conducting technical research on estate, gift, GST, tax planning, and compliance matters for internal clients. Another important responsibility is analyzing an individual's tax situation and their estate/trusts from multiple perspectives to ensure the application of maximum tax benefits, with a deep understanding of the income taxation of trusts and estates. The manager will assist clients with varying levels of estate planning knowledge and manage both internal and external client relationships by proactively seeking value-adding solutions to enhance the client experience. Additional responsibilities include business development, billing, preparation of marketing materials, and leading internal and external webinar trainings. The manager is also tasked with coaching and mentoring staff and collaborating with the Wealth Transition Services team on various projects.

Education and Experience Information
Candidates for the Wealth Transition Services Manager position are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license or JD/LLM (taxation). A candidate should have 4-8 years of experience in tax planning and estate planning, which could have been acquired in public accounting, law firms, or a related field. The role demands excellent verbal and written communication skills, as the manager will interact with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and speak to groups on wealth transition topics. Candidates must be capable of leading and coordinating large estate/gift/GST tax planning engagements across the firm. Multi-tasking skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential, along with experience in business development and networking. Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is also required.

Salary Information
The compensation for the Wealth Transition Services Manager position ranges from $95,000 to $160,000.
