Responsibilities of the Litigation Career Associate
- Participate in trial teams and manage the trial calendar.
- Assist with staffing associates within the Litigation Business Unit.
- Prepare client communications and craft tailored thought leadership materials on industry developments.
- Oversee long-term projects and ensure they align with the team's strategic goals.
- Work closely with practice lawyers to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with the practice manager, practice group leaders, and supervising partners to identify staffing needs.
- Collaborate with the innovation team to assign the right resources to tasks for maximum impact on client matters.
Qualifications for the Litigation Career Associate
- 7+ years of litigation legal experience.
- Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Experience drafting briefs, motions, and discovery documents.
- Familiarity with handling discovery tasks, including e-discovery.
- Ability to assist with witness preparation for depositions.
- Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment, collaborating with cross-department teams and clients.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
