Job Title:
Associate General Counsel, Monetization (Ads)

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze global products, features, and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions.
- Offer legal advice to product, engineering, and other business teams across various subject areas, including consumer protection laws, data protection laws and regulations, competition laws, and other global legal frameworks.
- Lead high-profile and high-impact projects that involve legal analysis and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across business, policy, legal, communications, security, and other teams.

Education and Experience Information:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (.) degree or foreign equivalent.
- Active membership in at least one . state bar and eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status if required by the state bar in the assigned work location.
- At least 5 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, which may include experience at a law firm, in-house, or within a government entity.
- Demonstrated business judgment and client counseling skills.
- Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with global privacy legal requirements, particularly those related to social media, digital advertising, or other technologies.
- Experience managing legal risk across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Experience prioritizing work and providing advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information:

- Base salary ranges from $198,000 to $266,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Compensation details listed reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or sales incentives, if applicable.
- In addition to base compensation, benefits are offered.
