Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and other related areas.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.

• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law.
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and maintain ongoing communication.
• Manage all aspects of a case from inception through resolution.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in family law and courtroom litigation.
• Strong understanding of family law statutes and procedures.
• Ability to manage a high-stakes caseload with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or the ability to obtain admission).
