Job Requirements:
We are looking for a trademark, copyright, and entertainment litigation counsel level or senior associate with at least four-six years of experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in drafting and responding to pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, working with experts, and developing litigation and counseling strategies. Trial experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Prepare and respond to complex discovery requests.
- Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel.
- Conduct depositions and prepare for trial.
- Present oral arguments at hearings.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine, and witness preparation.
- Prepare appellate briefs.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
