The District Office of XYZ is offering an exciting opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of politics and government. As a summer intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our staff and assist in various projects and tasks that are vital to the functioning of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Performing day-to-day office tasks such as answering phones, writing letters, and organizing media clips
- Assisting with constituent case work and district-based projects
- Conducting research on specific issues or areas of interest
- Attending meetings and events with staff members
- Providing support to staff members as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a current student with a strong interest in politics and government
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week for the duration of the internship
Academic Credit:
