Duties:
Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
Manage case files and ensure all legal deadlines and documentation are accurately maintained
Communicate with clients to assess case goals and provide strategic legal advice
Stay up to date on developments in personal injury, tort law, and related regulations
Assist with general administrative tasks and contribute to overall firm operations
Requirements:
At least 2–3 years of experience in personal injury law preferred
Strong litigation and negotiation background
Experience working in a law office with involvement in case management
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and handle a full caseload
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in California
In good standing with the California State Bar
Skills:
Legal research and case analysis
Legal drafting and litigation strategy
Strong oral and written communication skills
