The **Members Only** is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Deputy City Attorney II to join our legal team. As a Deputy City Attorney II, you will have the opportunity to represent the city in a variety of civil legal matters, provide advice and counsel to city staff, and work on complex legal issues. Salary Information:

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the city in court cases and administrative hearings
- Advise city departments on their duties and obligations
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as opinions, contracts, and resolutions
- Attend meetings of city boards and commissions
- Investigate and report on claims against the city
- Monitor legal developments and evaluate their impact on city operations

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Three (3) years of experience in civil or municipal law
- Valid driver's license and membership in good standing with the California State Bar Association
