Job Title: Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, which involves appearing in court for hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and manage discovery processes to effectively advocate for clients.
- Work directly with clients to develop case strategies, provide progress updates, and prepare for trial, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with an assigned litigation team, including paralegals, associates, and partners, to manage and support cases efficiently.
- Engage in a focused legal practice without the burden of excessive administrative tasks, allowing for a concentrated effort on legal work.
What You Won’t Have to Do:
- There is no requirement to process invoices or argue billing disputes, freeing attorneys from administrative billing concerns.
- Attorneys are not expected to work every weekend or stay late every night, as emergencies are considered exceptions rather than the norm.
- There is no expectation to chase clients or generate personal business; the firm provides the necessary client base.
- Attorneys will not work in isolation, as the firm emphasizes building real teams rather than working in silos.
- Personal cell numbers are not required to be provided to clients, and attorneys are not expected to check emails while on vacation, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must be a licensed Colorado attorney in good standing.
- Prior civil litigation experience is strongly preferred, although the firm is open to considering motivated litigators from other legal backgrounds.
- The candidate should have experience in courtroom advocacy, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery processes.
- The firm seeks a collaborative communicator who values professional integrity and strong client service.
- The ability to work on-site full-time at one of the firm's Colorado offices is required.
Salary Information:
- Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $275,000+, depending on experience and leadership role within the firm.
- Quarterly bonuses are available for exceeding performance benchmarks and generating revenue, providing financial incentives for high performance.

- The firm covers paid bar dues, CLEs, and other licensing expenses, supporting ongoing professional development.
